Nursing - RN Option Graduates of this program are educated in Nursing as a Registered Nurse with duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Washington Administrative Code.
Associate in Pre-Nursing This degree pathway streamlines preparation for the basic BSN pathway across the state. It does not, however, guarantee acceptance into a BSN program.
Practical Nursing Prepares the graduate for employment as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Nursing Assistant The Certificate program prepares students for employment as Nursing Assistants under the supervision of professional licensed nurses, such as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
The nursing programs at CPTC are (1) accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, (2) has program approval through the Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission Nursing Program Approval Panel (allowing all graduates to be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN exam) and (3) has been granted candidate status from the National League of Nursing and are therefore eligible for national accreditation.
