Everett Community College’s Health Sciences Department offers a 10-credit department certificate in Medical Spanish Interpreter. The program covers the medical vocabulary, phraseology, and expressions necessary to translate the most common medical signs, symptoms, and illness-related terminology used during patient-provider interactions. Students will be trained in the linguistic skills required of medical interpreters to successfully perform their interpreting duties in a medical setting. Native-like fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
